Marshall and Cathryn Brown

Prague, Czech Republic

Since 1989, Marshall and Cathryn have served as missionaries to the Czech Republic providing Czech pastors with a Biblically-sound seminary education. Marshall directs the Extension Studies Program of the Evangelical Theological Seminary, overseeing roughly half of the enrolled students. The typical Extension student is a 25-35 year old university graduate, 50% of whom are already serving as pastors to one or more local congregations. The Browns live in Prague with their three children, Nate, Hannah and Krista. A large portion of their home, located along the Elbe river, has been converted into a dormitory and classroom facility which serves as the Extension Studies Campus for ETS.
