“I love the Lord, because He hears my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I shall call upon Him as long as I live.” Psalm 116:1-2
This encourages us as believers to come to the Lord with our needs. To be assured that He hears us. This is the life of faith. To live like we know the Lord exist and hears us. Thank you for adding us and these needs to your prayers.
Back in the USA
By the time most of you read this we will be in Czech, as we fly back July 12. Marshall returned earlier on July 2. We had a blessed visit to the USA. It was wonderful to see a lot of our natural and church family.
In the US: we visited Southwest Bible Church, our family, two universities; Nate got his driver’s license; and Hannah bought a new guitar. It has been a great time for us to catch up with some of you. How I wish we had more time to be able to sit down with each of you and hear a bit about what God is doing in your lives, and how we can pray for you. We are thankful for the family God has given us! Please pray for Nate and Hannah as they seek the Lord for His leading in where they would attend college; Nate in 2011, Hannah in 2012.
July 17-24 ENGLISH CAMPS
Please join us in praying for the English camps being held this summer. There are many camps in the Czech Republic. Churches and Christian groups use them for the spread of the gospel. Our church in Celakovice will be hosting an English camp with a group of Americans from Eastside Community Church. There are a number of people signed up who are not believers. Please pray for them to have open hearts to the gospel. Our whole family will be serving in some way or another: with translation, teaching, and music. The group from the States will be teaching English, giving their testimonies, and preparing different programs, as well as getting over jet lag. Please pray for this camp, as well as for other similar camps that will be going on during the summer. Nate will also be serving at an additional English camp for teens the first week of August- in leading music, translation, and English. As a rising senior, Nate will then serve at the MK Camp, while Hannah and Krista will attend as campers. (We formerly led this camp; now the International Church of Prague is leading it. ) So, when we return to Czech, it will be a full
summer.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
We are very thankful for each one of you. God bless you and keep you- may you have much joy in Him.
Marshall, Cathryn, Nate, Hannah, and Krista Brown
